工業用素材として多く用いられるPVCの素材の美しさに自身の幼少期の記憶にある冬景色を重ね合わせたデザイナー自身がカッターで切り、編み込み、原型を作ったのが始まり。現在では裁断、パーツ加工、成型と組み立ては全て違う工場で行われ、職人の手作業によって組み立てられています。ガラスの様な繊細さを湛えるバッグの表面を飾る立体モチーフが氷柱や氷をも連想させ、持ち歩く彫刻として日々のコーディネートを華やがせます。
しっかりと重厚感のあるハンドバックは立体的な装飾と華やかなひねり金具が上品なスタイルに昇華していきます。

It has been a signature item of Mame Kurogouchi's lineup since the brand was founded. The designer herself cut PVC with a cutter, wove it, and made a prototype, comparing the beauty of the material, which is often used as an industrial material, to the winter scenery she remembers from her own childhood.
Today, the cutting, part processing, molding, and assembly are all done at different factories, and the pieces are assembled by hand by craftsmen. The three-dimensional motifs decorating the surface of the bag, which is as delicate as glass, remind one of icicles and ice, and as a sculpture to be carried around with you, it enlivens your daily coordination. The three-dimensional decorations and gorgeous twisted metal fittings on the solid and heavy handbag sublimate it into an elegant style.
