デザイナーPatrick Stephanはフランス出身。
学生時代をパリで過ごし、その後伝説的なコルセットメーカーのパール氏、ティエリー・ミュグレー、ジョン・ガリアーノ、他様々な熟練者から技術を習得。
更なる芸術を磨く為、1988年よりディオールのクチュール部門に参加。
パリで行われた日本の伝統工芸のエキシビジョンを訪れた際、日本に恋をし渡日を決意。2000年より日本に身を置く。
芸術的な美の可能性を東洋と西洋の融合、フェミニンとマスキュリンの融合によって追及している。

Designer Patrick Stephan was born in France.
He spent his school years in Paris, where he learnt his craft from the legendary corset maker Mr Pearl, Thierry Mugler, John Galliano and various other masters.
To further hone his art, he joined Dior's couture department in 1988.After visiting an exhibition of traditional Japanese crafts in Paris, she fell in love with Japan and decided to come to Japan, where she has lived since 2000.Since 2000 she has been based in Japan, pursuing the possibilities of artistic beauty through a fusion of East and West, feminine and masculine.
