On Friday, August 14th, MIDWEST TOKYO hosted a one-night-only reception party to commemorate the opening of the pop-up store for "TAAKK," a brand highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, featuring their 2026 Autumn/Winter collection.

The venue recreated designer Takuya Morikawa's atelier, creating a space where the TAAKK world was condensed. With fixtures, materials, and design tools reminiscent of an actual production site on display, the presentation allowed guests to deeply experience the brand's creative process.

Items from the TAAKK 26AW collection were on display, and the event offered an incredibly exclusive atmosphere where the designer personally shared stories behind the pieces and answered questions directly from attendees.
