Founded in 2016 by American and Portuguese designers Reid Baker and Ines Amorim. The brand is named after Reid's grandfather, Ernest W. Baker, an advertising man who was active in 1960s Detroit. Drawing on their experience at Haider Ackermann, Yang Li, and Wooyoungmi, the duo aims to reinterpret classic garments that feel as though they were taken directly from Ernest’s closet, blending European elegance with the rustic charm of old-school America. They express a modern masculine image that feels nostalgic yet entirely fresh.
