ODAKHA 26SS "The Unframed Gaze"
26SS "The Unframed Gaze"
Starting from the Cubist inquiry—"to record not just what is seen, but everything that is felt"—this collection unravels and reweaves the act of "looking."
Picasso's multi-perspective approach, fragmentation, and distortion are manifested in the garments through border structures and twisted knits, while the blue-period paintings experienced in Barcelona and the tiles of Casa Batlló inspired this season's key colors. Addressing the record-breaking heat of 2025, the collection pursues silhouettes that hold air, using materials with cooling properties and lightness such as silk, washi paper, and cotton-linen. With items like the distorted border flare knit dress, the pigment-shrunk "Water Mosaic" series, and the metallic flower jacquard series, a "questioning of looking" is quietly woven into each piece.
This is a season that re-examines clothing as a medium that reshapes the "seeing/being seen" relationship, deconstructing the very frame of our gaze.
