Designed by Norio Terada, YOKE launched its first collection in Autumn/Winter 2018. The brand focuses on high-quality materials and patterns, blending contemporary elements with standard items to offer sophisticated, unisex designs.
The brand name "YOKE" refers to connecting, bonds, and the piece of fabric that joins sections of a garment—all of which align with the brand’s concept. Seeing the production process—from raw material to yarn, fabric, cutting, sewing, and finishing—as a collaborative effort involving many people, the brand reflects the belief that "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things."
