In 1996, Yasuhiro Mihara launched the footwear brand "Mihara Yasuhiro." In 1993, he enrolled in the Textile Design department at Tama Art University. He began teaching himself how to make shoes as a student in 1994. In 1996, with the support of a footwear manufacturer, he launched "archi doom." After graduating from university, he changed the name to "MIHARAYASUHIRO," marking its beginning as a collection brand. Beyond his footwear, his designs—characterized by unconventional concepts and deep, intricate design work—continue to garner international attention, centered on a theme of stoic yet playful clothing.
