In 1996, Yasuhiro Mihara launched the shoe brand "Mihara Yasuhiro." He entered the Tama Art University Department of Design's Textile division in 1993, and began making shoes on his own as a student in 1994. In 1996, with the backing of a shoe manufacturer, he launched "archi doom." After graduating from university, he changed the name to "MIHARAYASUHIRO," marking its start as a collection brand. With ideas that go beyond existing frameworks and deeply exploratory design work—not only in shoes, but also in clothing that is stoic yet playful—his designs continue to attract attention both in Japan and overseas.
