VAQUERA NYC is a high-fashion brand founded in New York in 2013 by Alabama-born designer Patric DiCaprio. Following an internship at DIS Magazine, DiCaprio built a diverse career as a stylist, photographer, show caster, and art director, working with renowned clients such as Eckhaus Latta, Telfar, Vfiles, and The Editorial Magazine. Leveraging this background, the brand has garnered attention for its DIY-driven approach and provocative creations that challenge conventional values. The team expanded to three members in the Autumn/Winter 2016 season with the addition of David Moses (formerly of Moses Gauntlett Cheng) and Bryn Taubensee, followed by a transition to a four-person collective in Autumn/Winter 2017, consistently delivering fresh surprises. Embodying the avant-garde energy of New York, the brand continues to push boundaries with its experimental and unrestrained approach to expression, making it a label to watch for its future developments.
