VEIN is a men's brand born from Kazuyuki Kumagai, the founder of ATTACHMENT. The designer is Koki Enomoto.
At the core of the brand's craftsmanship lies a deep respect for French architect Jean Prouvé. While qualified as an architect, Prouvé referred to himself not as an "architecte" but as a "constructeur," reportedly beginning his sketches with details like columns and beams rather than the overall structure. Following the philosophy that "it is unthinkable for an architect's office to be anywhere other than a manufacturing plant," Enomoto views himself not as a designer but as a "planner," creating each garment through close and ongoing discussions with the factory.
