JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN
Designer Araki Yanagawa has an unusual background as a former professional boxer. After retiring, he went to England to experience buying and selling vintage clothing. He was strongly influenced by the British fashion he saw at that time, and with the desire to "make a good looking jacket by myself," he taught himself British tailoring and established "JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN" in 2003.

JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN is characterized by a design that is meticulous down to the millimeter, based on the concept of "the image of a man with strength and elegance. The collection focuses on highly regarded tailored jackets, set-ups, shirts, and denim. The brand has led the men's fashion scene in Japan by introducing military and sporty styles based on traditional British tailoring, and in 2011 entered the Paris Collections, and in 2017 moved to the London Collections. The brand continues to challenge and evolve, and is a global brand.
