SETCHU

SETCHU is a Milan-based unisex fashion brand launched in 2020 by Japanese designer Satoshi Kuwata.

The brand name is derived from the Japanese term "wayo-secchu" (East-West eclecticism), reflecting the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures in its designs. Rooted in classic tailoring, the brand pursues the creation of simple, functional garments meant to be worn and loved for years. Its designs transcend gender boundaries, offering a universal style suitable for anyone.

Designer Satoshi Kuwata is a highly skilled professional who, in addition to his experience at Givenchy and Gareth Pugh, deepened his knowledge of tailoring at the prestigious London tailor H. Huntsman & Sons. In 2023, he received the globally acclaimed LVMH Prize, drawing significant international attention. He also made a notable appearance at the opening of the 2024 Venice Biennale.

Where Japanese aesthetics intersect with European craftsmanship, SETCHU stands out as one of the most compelling brands in the contemporary fashion scene.
